Soliton perturbation theory for the fifth order KdV-type equations with power law nonlinearity
The adiabatic parameter dynamics of solitons, due to fifth order KdV-type equations with power law nonlinearity, is obtained with the aid of soliton perturbation theory. In addition, the small change in the velocity of the soliton, in the presence of perturbation terms, is also determined in this work. c © 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

The adiabatic parameter dynamics of 1-soliton solution of the generalized fifth-order nonlinear equation is obtained by virtue of the soliton perturbation theory. The adiabatic change of soliton velocity is also obtained in this paper.
متن کاملAnalytical Soliton Solutions Modeling of Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation with the Dual Power Law Nonlinearity
Introduction In this study, we use a newly proposed method based on the software structure of the maple, called the Khaters method, and will be introducing exponential, hyperbolic, and trigonometric solutions for one of the Schrödinger equations, called the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with the dual power law nonlinearity. Given the widespread use of the Schrödinger equation in physics and e...
متن کاملLow regularity solutions of two fifth-order KdV type equations
The Kawahara and modified Kawahara equations are fifth-order KdV type equations and have been derived to model many physical phenomena such as gravitycapillary waves and magneto-sound propagation in plasmas. This paper establishes the local well-posedness of the initial-value problem for Kawahara equation in H(R) with s > − 4 and the local well-posedness for the modified Kawahara equation in H(...
متن کاملSoliton Perturbation Theory for the Compound KdV Equation
The compound Korteweg de-Vries (cKdV) equation that is going to be studied in this paper arises is in the study of nonlinear waves in fluids. In particular, it shows up in the context of internal gravity waves in a density-stratified ocean. A very common tool for describing these processes is the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation and its modifications that are valid for small nonlinearity. But, ...
